OK , so i finally went out and got a fan , i think i tweeted twice about it .. my  new fan rocks , it's a quiet fan , and has a sleep mode, even has a remote control. However no can't write a blog about my new fan. I mean i could but may bore y'all to death. and think i need to take a new hobby other then blogging. Seriously the reason for this blog. When i went to the local big chain (no names yet) bought my fan for fifty bucks . That's $50.00 dollars , and also bought some other miscellaneous items. Mainly some food products . This chain who has food products. Actually surprisingly has some OK prices ..So my bill was like $135.00 dollars   .Anyway just when i got home i glanced at my receipt. Bought three things of soup(will include a pic of the soup). It's a great new soup from Campell's so give it a try. Anyway the receipt said i had purchased two
sep·a·rately and two at $2.49. Making a total  of Four (well i only bought three). The cashier messed up and i caught it . in the store's favor. and i payed $2.49 to the corporate big wigs in Minnesota. This chain is based out of MN. OK so the cashier wouldn't be able to pocket the mistake . It's not set up that way in the retail environment. Just a F--k Up on her part.  Meaning if she was a bartender or something in a small bar , possibly she could of , but the error was just plain in the store's favor and not me the customer. I actually used to process data for a gourmet grocery store in Southern CA. yrs. ago. hence my outstanding computer skills(big ego today).. that make me no $. kidding not kidding about being a data processor about the money part , i actually was for five yrs. a data processor... anyway my job or part of it was to make sure the price on the advertised items matched what was selling in the store. Like if they have something on sale and you are getting charged for the item before it went on Sale or the non-sale price. my job was to change that. among other things.Anyway check your receipts and go back to store and make a fuss about it. if you want to be a real stinker you can report it the weights and measure. and the store can be fined .. and those damn corporate bosses may have to lay off the limo service or whatever they spend their big salaries on . Seriously Beware of the big chains and watch those receipts...the store ,well when you go hunting you need a T-----T , like a bulls eye....did the hint give it away, out of MN. remember.actually now that i read my post , there possibly was no malicious intent on the store's end. And actually may have a chip on my shoulder about corporate america. That i do, only the 2% of the company makes a good salary and the folk's below them lower there living standards and don't give back to the struggling economy by going to sporting events , concert's , vacation everything that pumps our ecomonyl  for there corporate greed (profit). Same Goes to those  small -mid sized company that do not  care about their  employees or increasing morale that is oh so important.

Actually was going to have this on my second day there , that being Tuesday ,however closed on Tues. so i settled for it on my way out. it was really good. give it a whirl if your ever in the area. oh except the waiter called me buddy one to many times/ I HATE when guys say that.. although i let it ride , it really bothers me , oh he called me big guy too at one point.. do you get the point.?. he was a actually a pretty good server , I was actually a server in my twenties for yrs. to me it's better to leave out the buddy and not say anything or sir would be OK with me, the server was friendly .  and kind of young don't even think he knew he was annoying me. Just last week i went to Norm's in Santa Monica for lunch had a young male waiter that was really professional and attentive. at least by not buy  calling me bud-die , every time he approached the table, don't even think he called me sir.he just did his job .and didn't try to call me any nicknames  too me it's a bit derogatory  , Anyway you all know my pet peeve now, don't call me buddy , Chief, big guy .. you get the point ..  So waited for the temperatures to cool down a bit (till the sun set anyway) and made my way back to Los Angeles, when you have been out of Los Angeles for a few days. i  noticed right away the heavier traffic. I mean it's something you just adapt too. Being in the desert area . not nearly as much congestion. OH what can you do . It was a great getaway and hope i can get back real soon .. I mean before the triple digit heat , that will be in that region soon enough. Anyway my little three day weekend in a small blog. Hope you all enjoyed it. it was so relaxing and encourage you all to get out to that region and relax for a few .... it's so worth it.

OK day two where was I?Oh after my bike ride , heading back to the hotel and took a quick swim in the hotel pool, it was getting late in the afternoon and wanted to swim while the sun was out. After the swim  , was getting hungry so thought i would get something by my hotel . There was a Thai restaurant called Chada Thai Cusine  (no, my memory is not that good, i am looking at the receipt i have). Had some chicken lemon grass soup that was really good and the entree, think i had curry chicken (well the soup was better)had better curry chicken. Was the only one in the restaurant at the time . nice waitress no complaints on the service on this one. After dinner just walked around my hotel snapping pictures as i recall, it's just a hobby of mine. It's like a release for me. And like to share em online. Unfortunately never made any money from my photography. Which is a shame , cause i take   some nice pictures. It's the same with blogging, twitter, Facebook, and all the other things I do online. it doesn't pay , I mean you get recognition on Twitter , you might get someone really important , or a rock star or something might follow you but it is really a way for some of your ideas and pictures to get taken for free. just my opinion , i mean ya i could stop all these social networking sites , however i am waaay to addicted to all of it. have actually tried to give it a rest it's damn hard. Anyway where was I ? Oh think i went into town and had some non-alcoholic drinks, wasn't in a drinking mood and was driving so i took it easy. Nothing exciting for sure. Anyway woke up early the next day and had the continental breakfast at the hotel. There apparently were some security folks staying at the hotel that were working the Stagecoach festival coming up for the weekend. Had a conversation with one of em  at breakfast , that's how I know this.Anyway just checked out of my hotel at 11am and was in no rush to get back to Los Angeles , so thought I would ride it out another day in Town , without a hotel. Went into town and did a little clothes shopping (bought a bathing suit) Wanted to get a T-Shirt at this British store however all the shirt's were to small for me. It was a British shirt with a flag on Great Britain on it . looked really cool,Anyway didn't fit. So I went into a coffee shop and hooked up my laptop , and started this blog you are reading now.
