Blogging about auto-pay from a creditor ( they may save you a few dollars a month).

Today we are going to talk about auto pay for your creditor.. being the good person i am decided to pay my car insurance when it was due .. you know thru their application . well got a conformation that it went thru.. great .. well the next day i happened to look at my checking account.. unfourtunaly i was enrolled in auto - pay and they double billed my account .. well what that did was basically stop me in my tracks for a few days.. did not have enough in my checking account to cover both car insurance bills.. so it sent my account in to default ( like overdraft) .. wow , changed my world .. only had $5:00 cash in my pocket .. till Friday (when i get paid) .. no money to put gas in my car, have dinner or anything even a cup of coffee at starbucks .. really messed me up .. was it my fault? or the accounting department at the insurance company... i don't know? ..hard to say.. it just in the future i will be talking to see when it comes out of my checking account and will not be going to thier application and paying my insurance on time..minor inconveniece , lesson learned i guess .. need to make some changes and being a little more stable ( working on it) talked to someone today and the same thing happened to him .. so it's not just me , a lot of folks are just living day to day i guess..?  would i recomend auto - pay ? well it saves you a few dollars by enrolling .. however if you have a cushy great job , maybe six fiqures ..maybe .. not so sure about my situiation .. ? meaning a lot of positive things have happened in my life the last few months.. but i still need to get a little more stable it seems ...hopefully soon everyone.. thanks for reading ... 

 what was i thinking ? been without my music collection for a few years? so .. lost all my cd's and my mp3 files ( that were on my desktop).so I have been listening to the radio in that car of mine. we all know the frustration of trying to find a song you like on the presets or the excessive ads and or DJ's that just talk to much.. well I sit in public library's and I see the audio section ..duh, I have a CD player in car and I have been listening to the radio for years now ( I know you can listen to music thru the phone on your car , I just don't do that for some reason)?. so why not use my library card and get some CD's? .. that's just what I just  did .. man it sounds so good to hear clear music and no chatty DJ's! till I figure out how to connect my phone to car and use Spotify or whatever ?.. quick blog.. here's

 today I am talking about the new era , meaning the lack of communication . it seems everyone is hiding behind social media these days.. including myself. actually asked a co-worker for their social media account rather than just asking for there personal phone number ?what's up with that.?. never did that before.

think communication has hit a  all-time new low . if you go to call a business , you will be connected to a automated computer ,with no live operator.. they do this to save costs by having the computer do it verses having a live person . actually surprised when I do get a live operator .. actually don't like the automated  system's so  much when I go to pay my cell phone bill . rather than doing it over my phone I actually go the store and pay it personally .. it may be more convenient over the phone , however that's just me.. there may a reason I am asking for you phone number if I  might of lost contact with you . over social media .. well I may want to actually hang out with you on my off day. maybe not , maybe to say Hello and see how your doing . maybe to take you to work with me on my off day.. ( getting tired of the solo visits) might be to tell you to piss off .. I don't know … my friend I saw on Facebook messenger just gave me his recent phone number .. he doesn't respond to well on messenger .. called him four times ..went straight to voice mail... what's up with that ? actually I am guilty of it myself . not calling folks direct and hiding behind social media outlets.. it's easier to hide behind  a computer … we have all gotten into really bad habits of just being phone zombies for the most part.. don't know what's the point of this rant (blog) maybe - PICK UP THE PHONE -  or just call me back or respond on messenger.. how hard can it be ?.. if you don't want to respond ( not to be harsh) get off social media, or take me off your friend list .. the pic is a place in New Hampshire I got on Facebook. not taken by me.

today we talk about me re-instating my awesome , photo sharing site, it's a Yahoo program called Flickr .

 well today I am going to talk about re-instating my flick account.. neglected to open my account and my pics were on the verge of being deleted ..so I

re-instated it yesterday .. the way I look at it I have a real passion for photography , so it was the best thing to do.. it seems I am always taking pics of something .. never did it professionally just as a hobby. would like possibly want to do it as a profession someday . like actually get paid for it .. however so competitive like every thing it seems these days .. weather it be jobs , housing , romance whatever a very competitive world we all face today it seems . pay a small membership fee , meaning there are free site like Facebook and Instagram .. however those aren't really photo sharing sites I have found. it just feel on some hard times and lost my camera and my desktop and haven't really had a chance to replace them.. maybe some day..it seems everything is going towards little smart phones .. the technology is their . it's just not quite the same creative control as a larger camera... quite frankly you really don't see too many folks carrying around the big cameras these days.. the smart phones work pretty well to a certain extent...anyway if your interested in my photography follow me on flick .. here's the link …the love gun well I  don't know , I am a big kiss fan so I thought I  would upload it .will say the new camera's are much more convenient .. Just talking about watches, this morning .

 well today I am going to talk about my watch , not a long post , well I was a watch collector at one time .. had about 5- 6 of them.. not especially exotic or expensive . mostly Seiko and Casio .. miss them sometimes .. my attraction to jewelry ?. it's just I feel on some somewhat difficult times and lost them all.. among some other things I may not necessarily want to share. actually think I found this watch and took a liking to it .. it's pretty basic watch a Ironman by Timex .. like the digital clock immensely and the stop watch and other functions .. that I can use a timer when I go to the health club. not really in the market of collecting watches.. the newest thing is the new watches that hook up to your phone.. thought about it, however sometimes I like to escape the technology, and not to be bothered by a text or phone call .. when I am at my service job at the park I work at ..  I am on a shift, and can't get to my phone ( could carry it with me , however I choose not too). it's perfectly fine to take a break from all this technology, and all that we have all gotten used to .too much, it's almost addicting for the most part. my co-worker saw my watch in the break room at work & asked why I use the military format time.. my reaction ( kind of actually surprised me ) I said , well I

used to work in a industry that was very time constraining .. meaning you had minutes to get to the gate on time .. very time sensitive industry I was in for years.. the transportation industry .. anyway my little blog today .. fine with my Ironman watch ,  and not in search of any watches at the moment.

today I am going to blog about Masks...

Well Masks kind of a new concept we have all had to deal with with this nuisance pandemic , didn't really use them too much ( meaning if I didn't have too) in the past few years .. well they obstruct your breathing slightly and also , obscure your facial recognition a bit.. meaning you may actually enjoy this new  phenomenon we  are all having to deal with meaning wearing a actually mask.. well just won't say what I do on here .. will say I work with the public and my presence is visible in the establishment I work in . just recently started to wear a mask at work ,and it has it's pro's and cons.. well the good thing is well it kind of hides your appearance or overall identity in some ways.. kind of like it .. meaning I may see someone with a mask on and see them take it off. .get a slightly different perspective of their appearance when they take it off. sometimes quite frankly they look slightly better with the mask on.. the mask off shows their true identity .. not always sometimes they look just fine without their mask on... you know what I Mean? What else can you do with the mask on , well you can make funny faces and folks can't see it , meaning it obscures your facial expressions and such.. you can even talk to yourself , if you talk quietly ( no I don't talk to myself , but the option is their)"_' it obscures your lip movement , and also hides your smile ( which is important in the customer service industry) which I am currently in. what else? well if you wear glasses, I find it fogs up your spectacles when the mask is on .. that's another drawback .. also who would of thought , it would be actually fashionably to wear a mask .. me I just was ecstatic I found a color I liked at a smoke shop in Lakewood Ca, the other day. Also you get kind of addicted to them, like a seatbelt , if you start wearing them and then take it off.. kind of similar analogy.. 

. meaning not the cheap , generic one's you could wear.. anyway what else ? I don't know ? if I think of something I can also add to my little blog here now can't I ? 

 today I noticed I wrote something on Facebook that didn't really receive to much recognition , like what I am trying to say is it started out as a post that turned into a blog.. actually I  made two blogs , one about a car wash I just went to in Palm Springs . The other I wrote about a experience I had  at the pool ( my last blog on here) . Well it seems Facebook or Instagram don't really tell you a view count or for that matter , the two applications simply aren't made for blogging . one of the blog's actually got more recognition the the other one . the one I wrote about losing my keys at the pool didn't get any reaction ( like how many folk's actually saw it)? FB doesn't seem to tell you unless it's something i am missing over there? Maybe that's why I am over here. It's far more user friendly and also gives you a view count. Recognition ? not sure I need it? . Meaning it's hard to decipher what application is best to use? well, quickly twitter maybe quick thoughts you randomly have, or sometimes I think out my tweets ( it's a very complex program for sure) or flick is a a great site for photography . Facebook who knows ? maybe for family pics and quick shares. Instagram is really cool , however that's like almost like Flick but not for multiple pics . more for one or two pics. and then theirs tic-toc , well that sites almost like you tube , but for shorter clips ..other applications I use maybe Pinterest (not too much) it's just sometimes all the applications gets overwhelming . Not that they are not good applications .. just get caught up on other sites .. so many to choose from it seems.so the reason I am writing this well I think I will be more over here than Facebook or Instagram for my blogs . again sometimes my posts turn into blogs by accident . so maybe I can copy and paste them over here or vice- versa. well maybe will give you  a link to my Facebook account over here so i may get more recognition the picture I just found here at the library .. someone wanted to be my friend on Facebook ( she wasn't for me - spam or whatever ) so she had a nice pic I got . kind of tricky to get a picture from a public library like where I am now . onto a  computer ( when you don't have your own personal computer) like me right now .. everything is over the smart phone  right now.     oh so those two blogs I wrote on FB , let me give everyone  a link to my FB account .. feel free to send me a FB request …thanks for reading

Palm Springs open pool that rocks!

 here I am at the library again . so why not write another blog , well I went to Palm Springs a few weeks back .. my third time this year … just love it out their... less traffic , population and overall stress . Grew up in the northeast … so I find the desert kind of the opposite of where I grew up.. love the atmosphere , tranquility of it and peace and quiet  of it .. less population than Los Angeles county and Orange county by a lot . Meaning like 500,000 (half a million) vs. 42,000 , I notice a difference immediately ..anyway made it out 3 times this season .. that be Nov, Feb and April kind of liked April the best just because of the longer days and the weather just being just perfect , not too hot or to cold, you know like not to excessive.  and I stayed a extra night ( vs. usually only staying 1 evening) used to work for a transportation company in like 2003 or something like that … remember spotting a pool out that way .. like to swim and have taken up swimming like 10 months ago.so when I was out their called the palm springs visitor center ( they are great , answer to any question you may have about the Palm Springs area). so I found it , had a extra day their so I was able to more things , just did not have to rush as much. anyway the pool was just exquisite although I had to pay a extra fee for being  a non- resident of Palm Springs. anyway enjoyed my swim , although I really didn't stay too long their.. enjoyed the depth of the pool immensely . vs not as deep at the health clubs I usually go too , meaning had the option of diving deeper in the water it was like 12 ft. or more.in the Los Angeles / Orange county area don't really find deep pools like that .. oh and I stopped at the health club in Riverside .. just because it's a little break . about half way to Palm Springs from where I currently reside. Anyway will be back to this pool I really enjoyed it. and probably not till after Labor day .. if I don' t get there before Memorial day , that's

when it slows down out their .. except the Europeans come their in the summer months . according to the lady at the Palm Springs visitor center ..OK let's see if I can figure this thing out , about getting pics on here .. Library- what I am doing.

 Ok well I am between a rock and a hard place, so to speak, don't have a desktop or laptop  at the moment so I happen to be at a public library doing this particular blog.. have a smartphone , however I have been trying to network on a phone for like 4 years .. had some hard times everyone, and lost most of my belongings .. so I have to do whatever to get by .. no camera ( well not a fancy camera , but just upgraded my phone so I can use that) don't have the creative control with a camera phone vs. a professional camera . manage too the best of my ability. find being at a public library it's hard to sync your photos on your phone with the public computer ..so after I write this may go to my mobile phone and just upload a photo .. anyway not a long blog  today, got a few things to do. just practicing ( also helps me practicing typing on a computer . as I mentioned , with a smart phone it's just not as user friendly .. got too make do I guess?'damn yankees not sure why i choose this one ?, just practicing how to upload images on here at library.. ever so complicated ...come again is my fav song by them.:)

Welcome back to blogger!

 wow it's been six years since i wrote a post or blog !, I am finding , not really finding a audience over here , meaning not to much recognition . However  when i go to post on Facebook or Instagram it's not really getting too much recognition . this social media is a real conundrum , for the most part .. hard to figure .. however I really dig it , that I can interact with my friends in my hometown I used to partied with and hang out with . some of them I haven't seen in a long time (40 + years or so) not only that I am meeting new co-workers that are significantly younger than me. they teach about their interests and music tastes .. which are quite different than mine .. however I am looking for new genres of music, tv shows , movies ( which to be honest I don't really like or have the patience to watch …that being movies or tv shows.)  tend to watch a lot of music videos  , mainly classic rock , hair bands , corny seventies and eighties songs ( ya know like love songs)also I have a few subscriptions, like folks that review  restaurants, the park I work at things like that , I also watch. anyway excited  to be back on here and maybe will share this link on some other applications.. thanks for reading .. and watch out for my blogs ….they will be coming for sure. Writing is a release for me .. its not for everyone... find I am somewhat creative and it 's a great way to express my creativity or whatever the heck I feel like writing .. it 's seems I can write just about anything.. and well my life is somewhat mundane for the most part.. i am fortunate in my own ways... have a fun job in a fun atmosphere .. and also i have a pretty reliable car that's takes me all over the place .. and I am able to get out of town and everywhere else.. my photos well I am never home to much and either on my side gig or at my stationary job .. anyway love the pic of me on this blog.. a older one , I was a bit younger will leave it for now.. anyway thanks for reading .. have to work shortly...

so just got back from my three day excursion, actually wait it was in in reality only one day in Los Angeles and a little getaway in San Diego . Kind of a spur of a moment thing cause i had a holiday pay i needed to use up.Wanted to get out of Los Angeles ( believe me i don't get out of this area too much) and change is good.

              Just got a newly purchased car(well it's used but still fairly new)  and i haven't  had a chance to use it to much ( believe it or not) so thought i would take my first road trip .Actually had trouble getting my usual hotel down their .usually stay around the Hotel Circle Dr. area . great little area , not as pricey as the beach area hotels, and great centrally located hotels . You see their is a heat wave going on in the country and folks are escaping places where it is super hot to hit the beach area... i am very fortunate been hearing about this heatwave , but i live kind of by the coast in Los Angeles and the heat hasn't been to bad (yet) well July and August are still not done.  so the hotel i stayed in the winter months ( went down their for a football game and to see a close friend i have that live 's down that way) . was booked up... surprising me because it was early week..


Actually in the summer months for me , theirs not to many choice 's to go .. i mean i don't want to go Palm Springs or anywhere hot. love the desert don't get me wrong . but the desert can wait till after Labor day for me ( just me) . not really into triple digit heat to much ( who is)? Considered the bay area (San Francisco) - but i only had a night , so didn't make sense to drive all the way up their for a limited time .. (maybe if i had more time) have family in the bay area..


So when i called the hotel i usually stay at they were booked ( huh early week)? so i went online and got a hotel next door to the one i usually stay at .. that be the Day's Inn... actually a little pricey for early week ... but it is summer and everything is more expensive i would say.. anyway took off from my apt around 11 am ( even packed a lunch) . drove down to Carlsbad got some gas, and found a park had my lunch ...

Next stop Pacific Beach this was a spur of the moment for sure .. you see i wasn't able to check into my hotel till 4 pm Pacific time and i had some time to kill. So Pacific beach it was .. surprisingly parking wasn't to bad. and parking several blocks away and had two free hours ! it was a bit overcast but busy .. so i just walked around the Strand , Boulevard  (whatever that area is called that hugs the coast) it was quite busy for a Tuesday afternoon along the beach .. found a Starbucks, had  my drink and was on my way..


Next stop checking into my hotel , like a change of scenery from my apt. and hotels suit me fine, i have heard about air b & B ( where you share  a place with a strange person) never tried that but would like to give it a go sometime. anyway have never done the air b and b or whatever it's called , but would be interesting i suppose, it was actually recommend to me. may be more economical . However theirs something to say about the pool the privacy , the exercise room , all inclusive at the hotel .. was a bit crowded with   families and all at the hotel i stayed at .. well off season will be here after labor day and i can always go back when it slows down ...So i checked into my hotel , got situated , unpacked went to the pool area , and the exercise room  after the pool , it was all good .. then i felt like Mexican food .. didn't want to lose my prime shaded carport parking . and i also drive all the time so i needed a break from the car. so i just googled the nearest restaurant it was like a 10 minute walk ... had some great combination fajitas and a cold Dos Equis with salt and lime (amber) it rocked.. Dodger game was on .. sat by the bar listened to drunk bar patrons at bar and stupid intoxicated talk they can have  ( and now i know why i rarely go to bars anymore.. i mean i was close enough in the lounge just  not sitting at the bar.  found it funny the Mexican restaurant is called Amigo spot in the evening  but it converts to a breakfast house in the a.m. the waffle house or something it's at the Knight's inn  on Hotel drive South ).

So i just chilled out in my room and feel asleep fairly early , was tired and i needed the rest and relaxation for sure ... i work a lot of hours and sadly i don' t get to much  free time , i actually prefer to holiday off season ( fall usually) when it quiet's down and the demand is not so high for hotel occupancy  and parking and all the rest that goes along with  high season   .. well after my night of rest got up and when i was walking  back to my hotel from the restaurant i had dined at the previous evening.  spotted a  a  family restaurant on my way back to the hotel , called  Valley Kitchen at the Mission Valley Resort .. had breakfast struck up  a conversation with the long time waitress.. she told me the owner was going to tear down the restaurant and hotel and build a Christian Resort his name was Mores Curillo (had to jot that down on my smart phone-the name)  .. so Christian folks this could be on your list for a retreat .. heck i might even check it out.. next day i was in Hill crest for a few hours.. great area ... but parking can be ever so tight and pricey in the daytime ( it tapers off in the evening) the parking .. so i asked a parking lot attendant where to go.. where  i could park for less .. he suggested i drive a few blocks .. which i did .. several so i drove maybe 10-15 blocks and found a spot to park my car and wandered around Hill crest for a bit.. such a cool area of San Diego i will say ... anyway no holiday's for me for a bit .. glad i got out of Los Angeles for a few ..San Diego is a great option and not to far a drive ( it's about 1 hour and 45 minutes with out traffic .. about a 100 miles S from where i reside... anyway that's my blog .. haven't written or tweeted to much for some reason .. but that's OK .. social media will always be their  .. doing it now .. but seriously San Diego is  a fine town and not quite as hectic as the LA area.. so check it out... like the  Hotel Circle string of hotels .. google it .. great location in S.D . and a great shopping mall nearby .. thinks it's called fashion center (valley) something like that .. hope you enjoyed my blog .. i know i am kind of rusty and not the greatest author blogger .. but if anything it helps my typing skills if anything else . have  a great day, evening , wherever you may be and check out San Diego California!

it's cool i can type , i actually took a typing class in high school in H.S . Probably mandated by the school , but actually don't think it stuck , in later yrs. i went to a technical school in Los Angeles when i was in my early thirties for computers. this is in reality where i learned to type, i got a application typing tutor and took about 15 minutes during my lunch in the computer room and practiced , this is very beneficial in me writing my "smart alek" things on twitter, my blogs and overall just a great thing to know how to do , however that's not the purpose of this blog (how i taught myself to get around on the computer) well i was employed as a data processor , for several yrs. that's why i have blockers on twitter , they don't really hate me, they just fear my computer skills (they really do)."--"

favorite season : fall (do i miss New Hampshire in the fall , damn right i do ) let me put some $ for next fall , although i went to Texas this fall , and had a awesome time, it was actually very affordable, more so than New England .. ( but i have  relatives in the Boston area ,so i can look em up on the eastern seaboard, for next Oct) ..but i  may very well just go right back to Texas next Oct.

are you L or R handed , well i am left handed but not a true lefty , i do thing s right handed like throw balls and bat right , but i eat lefty and write , i kind of look as my R is my strong arm , and my L is my creative side..(i have a L handed mouse on my desktop).

do you like Los Angeles?, some thing's i do ( the weather) i find it crowded, and the folks can be kind of shallow ( just being honest) .. super expensive out this way mainly in housing , unless you want to live in Bakersfield or something.

OK so i was kind of pressed for time yesterday and did take about a half hour or so  to take some photographs down in Hermosa Beach , CA, great community .. instead of driving to Santa Monica beach go a little south next time and check out one of my favorite communities .. if you like to have LIBATION 'S than Hermosa is the town, they have some great restaurants and bars and you can find a bar setting for whatever you mood is , meaning a surfer bar, a Irish bar, a American bar (American Junkie) bars with a Latino flavor.. you get the hint .. trust me i lived here for seven years.. now i live close by , just kind of got priced out.. but that's OK those landlords can keep raising the rent and we can take our  business to other communities isn't that the bottom line..:(


Anyway my hobbie runs into danger sometimes not danger i mean i  can carry myself , it's just that when i am in urban areas i am a photographer (OK Amateur) but one of these days i may turn pro.. have more than enough experience . So i was taking a few pictures and believe or not their are angry men (usually men ) however girls can give you some mean looks but they are usually docile  and don't get too too aggressive , this is where my blog is leading me,, so i non-Chantilly  took  a pic unaware there was a angry young man in the shot . after i took the pic, i walked away going towards the Hermosa pier , then i heard him " Are you going to delete that pic"? you have to ask permission to take my photograph! .. something to that effect .. i was in a confrontational position .. i explained i had no problem deleting the photograph so i walked up to him and showed him the LCD screen and did just that.  he is in the right, but it is a free society and i can take pictures of whoever i want .. but if you don't like your picture taken like this gentleman you should oblige it is a professional way to act as a photographer ...so i did , delete one pic , when i got home i noticed he was in another pic, but that 's not the one he asked me to delete hope obscene gesture;s don't offend y'all...  he was a piece of work , it's all good got some great pics .. and that's all that matter .. no i said i wouldn't post his pic well tell me too take it down now punk"---------"   (can be a little vindictive) i have gotten yelled at a few times for taking pics.. sometimes i can be sneaky and i don't ask , but i get great shots that way and that's fun for me.. so hope you like my pics i have a Flickr account.. and just opened a Instagram account (which is a awesome application) ... anyway have a nice day everyone, and i hope this angry one chills out maybe he needs a drink or something at one of the many drinking establishments in this small south bay beach community....one more thing wouldn't consider Hermosa a urban beach area, Venice ya, not Hermosa , guess i have to venture to more affluent

The Orlando shooter was on the FBI watch list and was still able to buy a gun because of outrageously lax gun regulations forced on your country by politicians bought by gun manufacturers. This is about dirty money costing innocent lives over and over and over again. Get big money OUT of your political system and INSIST on reasonable gun regulations. No one outside the military needs an assault rifle

OK tonight i had a flashback when i worked in the grocery industry , well it actually didn't occur to me till i got home. Here it goes.. 

So i thought i would pick up a few things at the market this evening due to it being slow today at work. Picked up a few items and when i came across a food i had never seen before .Thought why not give it a try... Had never seen this product before and in the late nineties, early 2000's i used to process data for a gourmet grocery store. You have probably seen my post's on twitter regarding my super techie computer skills. not that i have a big ego , but believe me i can get around a database ( i have to watch myself i get cocky occasionally and sometimes i offend corporations). It's not really my intent on twitter i just express my thought's as they happen , kind of like spur of the moment post's. The corporation may look at it as i am bashing their business . However that is usually not my intention.. not to be spiteful with them.However i have a inquisitive nature  and my computer skills get out of hand, i will admit. Have a addiction to the net like most of us.Try to refrain sometimes and if it is to spiteful or it offends sometimes . Will give my post a second thought and take it down (delete my tweet) so to speak. Anyway back to the Grocery story . 

          When i went to pay for my item the cashier had trouble, only with the item i had never tried or seen in a store before ( it was like a pastry dessert  w/ blueberries) Come to find out it was European. *..Bingo ...* the ever important UPC has a meaning... and European foods have one extra digit than  domestic products.. this is why the cashier did not have a price from the scanner.. someone who put the code in messed up or  not messed  up : just put it in the database the wrong way.Confusing to a American data processor ( like i used to be).  It is a new store, to the south bay of Los Angeles just opened a few weeks ago.. These kind of things will happen till the store get's on track .It's the same when a new restaurant or any small business first open's up ... My philosophy is to stay away for a few months till they work out the kinks... however i had been to this grocery store last week, and i liked the ambiance and the way the store was set up.. even drove a bit out of my way. ( i mean there was a Ralph's closer). However thought i would give the new guy in town a run for my money.( Ralph's, probably has a down payment for a small house in the mid-west from me, for the $ i have spent with them over the years). So no hard feeling's mr. Ralph's grocery(there's a example of me playing w/ corporate America , just my nature :) .. anyway that's my blog, about the ever and so important Universal Product Code   :)      signed X Data base price integrity

OK so i came up on a roadblock last night and i put a little SAD smiley face on my twitter feed post .. why did i do that ? Well i'll  tell you why... Because even though i am on the road more than most of you... and i even put a twitter feed last week about what i do when i see drunk drivers late at night on the various freeway's i drive on.. just get defensive and keep my distance (very far away) i can tell their  drunk , they tell us to call 911 however i don't do that.. ( i leave that to someone ,else) ...Yes, drunk drivers scare the Jabezee (that's a made up word) out of me..and they annoy me ..cause even though i rarely drink anymore, when i did , i would just make a alternative to get around ... whether taking the bus , a taxi, uber .... a hotel whatever.. just the penalties in the state i live in are astronautical for  a DUI ,, OUI , there's different things you would call it..depends on what state .. oh and one of the reason's i don't call 911 ( i mean if they crashed i would), try to give the benefit of the doubt .. like there just a idiot driver or playing on the cell phone .... but most of the time they are drunk..  well i am not a law officer, so it's not my job to call 911 (feel free to comment if you disagree) .



                    So why was i annoyed when i approached the DUI checkpoint? i mean i had a valid driver's license and was in a nice newer model car, it's just that we live in a free society... and being stopped for a driver license check is not what are forefather's fought for in the Constitution ...unreasonable search and seizure.. don't agree , don't think drunks should be on the roads, but this is not acceptable in our society.. it' s just a opinion, and some of you actually might agree with these borderline Gestapo spectacle's.  Believe me  i know that law enforcement has probably seen the dark side of drunk driver's . Well if you disagree ,your welcome to leave a comment.  Anyway my eye's are out there in So.Cal so if i see one being set up like i did last night, in Malibu, You can bet your bottom dollar i will be on social media posting w / a little help from Mr. Checkpoint :)  ...

 Posted on twitter and  mr. checkpoint(he's a twitter user).  Helped me get over 5,483 impressions, and 14 engagements...that's techie talk to a computer nerd like me .. but it's a big impression from my twitter post... on the post on the checkpoint ..even though i lost like 5 followers -who know's why that stuff happens? shouldn't  Take it personal , just kind of sensitive sometimes .Well that's my opinion, of my thinking , We all have are different opinions, but this is the way i think ... actually i am fortunate, because i grew up in a very conservative area in my teenage years that being New England. now i live in liberal Southern California.and there's a reason .. i am more liberal than conservative, so southern NH- as beautiful as it is  , i am OK in a suburb of Los Angeles for the moment :) i bid you a goodnight and remember the good weather is upon us and there will be a lot of these up until the labor day weekend , and they will make a comeback for the holiday season you can guarantee that.. so make alternatives if you drink and drive ... uber is cheap enough, get a hotel , designate a driver, be responsible  be safe and don't make a bad mistake .. over and out ... .Kevin B.

Haven't blogged for awhile ,how about a little about me , OK , here it goes:

                     Grew up in the far Northeast (like way back east) in between VT. and ME. ( that would be the state of NH ). However grew up in Southern NH , Northern NH is a whole different Venue. unless your from the Northeast .. you might not understand , it's like the mountain folks(hillbillies)  live up past Concord ( the state's capitol). Where i was working when Christa McAuliffe -had the space disaster , on Jan . 28, 1986 -  I was a waiter at a restaurant across the street from the state capitol  it was called the Millstone... Now i live in Southern Ca . , Find growing up where i did was really fortunate .. i mean who grows up in So. NH . ?It was a great time from like oh 1979 - thru 1986   - my teenage years... wouldn't take it back (growing up there) for any where else. However my dad was a traveling salesman so i went to three different high schools, that being , my Hometown which is Bedford,NH ,Clear Lake City TX. and Lexington MA.  However they didn't have a high school in Bedford at the time ( they do now), so they bused us affluent bratty kids from the suburb, into the big city of Manchester .. (which i am being a bit sarcastic) Manchester is not a very large city and not a very small city .. it's kind of like Sacramento (about the same size) ..Manchester NH is kind of Republican country and a bit conservative .. well i'll  give you a example of how NH is conservative .. well i grew up before the internet and being on wi-fi and all that. So we had the Union leader which was our newspaper.. it was the only way to get information (news) we didn't have,  i pads, smart phones, internet .. So the newspaper were king back then , They choose who they would put in their paper, the editorials and such.. remember if  they didn't like a horror movie playing at the local movie theater - they didn't like the content or whatever so they just chose not to run the ad ... (they basically refused to advertise the horror movie). This is what i mean by NH was a bit conservative.. Newspaper's were the boss back than and they wrote whatever they wanted.Regardless if you agreed with them, and they choose who they published in their editorials . Unlike today where anyone can be  a writer, a critic, a editor , a movie critic , a restaurant critic .. problem these days there is just to much free stuff online, and it is hard to get paid for your work. Whether it be videos you make, things you write , pictures you take,   all those i just mentioned i have never made a dime selling a photograph.. i plaster everything on Flick and some of my photo's are damn good.But when it comes to getting compensated it just ain't happening.. anyway back to NH , great place to grow up, The folks are genuine, the food is great , and the weather is unpredictable.They have a airport ( i can't fly direct from where i am in Ca.) would have to stop in Chicago or something. So for me, i just fly into Boston and take the bus up to Manchester , that's just me , there's a lot of way's to get to the Northeast . My favorite time of year is late Sept , early Oct. can't beat the foliage.. so if you haven't been to the state of NH , put it on your list to vacation .. it's also nice in the summer, bit muggy and crowded , but a good time of year too. Not sure who closed the taxi lot up by LAX and moved it but: take it from someone who has a good perspective of the airport.who sees the airport  almost on a daily basis, this is a lesson on  complete lack of logistics. Taxi's lined up on Westchester Parkway , clogging  98th and Jenny (or is it 96th street i always get em mixed up). drivers scattered all over the place , taking up resources of the business's up by LAX (like restroom facilities) , it's a accident waiting to happen /  the old lot was much more logistical they were kind of tucked away by the police station (now there is some police blockade or something) ...someone dropped the ball so to speak . i realize there is a lack of space up by the airport . However this was just a poor decision on someone's part... may put some pictures on here to back up my perspective ...
